There are no words that can adequately express how much
I love these children:

a quote:

I slept and dreamt that life was joy.
I awoke and saw that life was service.
I acted and behold,
service was joy.

what the hell is he talking about??

The Illinois House voted yesterday to impeach Governor Rod Blagojevich.
After the news, Blago gave this speech today:

This guy is crazy. He's got balls, but he's crazy!
Yes Blago, they want to impeach you because you tried to help people. Exactly.
And can you get it straight? Was it a liver or a kidney?
I'm sure Blago has done some good for the people of Illinois, but he screwed up. He betrayed public trust and you can't get that back, and he should no longer be the Governor.

Illinois politics have a long history of corruption. If Obama, for one, is trying to change that image, Blagojevich certainly isn't helping.
Sure, innocent until proven guilty, but until then, he is doing a fine job on his own of making himself the laughingstock of the US.

And is Tennyson rolling over in his grave or what??

aaaaaand, cue earthquake!

Talk about timing!

During my class last night, Detective David McCain from Huntington Beach PD was speaking.
Around 7:50pm Detective McCain said,
"Jessica's Law changed this from a misdemeanor to a wobbler.
Who can tell me what a wobbler is all about?"
Right then, the building started shaking.

After the initial shock, we all just started cracking up.
I guess California wanted to inform us what a wobbler is!

wouldn't this be incredible?!?

i would like for this to happen... it would be awesome.
maybe a little painful if you got in the way, but still.

I hate this song... But this is hilarious

I really can't stand Beyonce's new song, but this video makes it so much better:

an amazing day. together.

I have these four amazing friends named Rocky, Lisa, Tyler and Ashlee. Together, we call ourselves The Fab Five. We used to see each other just about all day every day but have all ended up in different places over the last year and a half. Tyler is now in San Jose, Rocky is in Santa Maria, Ashlee is in San Diego (what's with all the Sans??), Lisa is in Los Alamitos, and I am out in Yorba Linda.

On December 29th, 2008 all five of us met up. I'm pretty sure it was the first time all five of us have been together in over a year... crazy! We don't get to see each other as much as w
e might like, but the great thing is that when we are together, it's just like old times. We have so much fun together and laugh a lot.

Lisa, Ashlee and I met up at 7am and drove up to Santa Maria where we met up with Rocky. Tyler drove down from San Jose a little bit later and met up with us. We spent some time in Santa Maria then drove to San Luis Obispo for the rest of the day. We walked around, we ate, we laughed, we stuck gum on a wall, and we took a ton of pictures...

On the way to San Luis Obispo
BubbleGum Alley in SLO
kinda gross - people have been sticking their gum
on there for a long time. we added our gum too.
Five Friends, Five Rocks. Perfect.
It seriously took about 20 attempts to get this picture.
The girls and our StarbucksAt the Madonna Inn
that place is crazy!
I love The Fab Five. It was such a great day.
We have big plans for our next reunion - a limo and wine tasting. Can't wait!
